Hi Dave, After a more focused analysis than was available via either 13 numbers or chat sessions it turns out that the inability of "Windows Live Mail" to set TLS (Transport Layer Security) was the problem with not being able to send emails once an existing Telstra email account is migrated to the new Microsoft Outlook.com email platform.
