Dec 24, 2009 · In IP Config I am not showing an IP address, just zeroes (000.00.0.0, etc). I thought that maybe I had damaged my network card, so I just bought a new one and replaced it and still the same problem. So this leads to me to believe it is a Windows problem.

Mar 24, 2011 · Look in here and it should show a list of connected devices. Look for your ps3's MAC address and assign an IP address to it (i.e. if your router is 192.169.0.1 then assign 192.168.0.2/3/4 etc to the ps3). Now find the DMZ option (sometimes under advanced settings) and enter the IP you gave to the PS3. Save options/ restart router and give it a try.

How can I connect my PS3 with a wired connection from my ethernet hub? It fails to find an IP address or any of the DNS server information.
